The Brides Tree Ornament Series is by Brooke's Publishing company, here is what the designer Brooke's comment about this series:

Dear Stitching Friends...I designed these twelve Bride's Tree ornaments with silk because I wanted to give you the opportunity to create an heirloom quality collection for that special bride in your life to celebrate her first year of marriage and to have something special to hand down to her children and grand children. But I am also acutely aware of how expensive the silk makes this project. That is why I've made sure to list DMC cotton floss conversions for each Crescent Colours Belle Soie Silk and Hand Dyed Floss color so you may have a more affordable stitching alternative as well. I appreciate your interest in my designs and your understanding about why I chose silk for this collection.
